On May 6, 2015 some of our level 1 students have been randonly chosen by PISA (Program for International Student Assessment) to complete a Math/Science/Financial assessment.    The Math/Science assessment will be completed on a computer from 9-12 that day.  The financial assessment will be completed on a computer in the afternoon on that same date.  Over the coming days, if your child has been chosen, he/she will be bringing home a pamphlet outling the PISA assessment.   If your child has been chosen by PISA, their involvement in the assessment will have no impact on their school grades whatsoever.  It is merely an assessment to compare how a random sample of our students are performing in comparison to the rest of the world.  If your child has been chosen, and you do not want them to participate in the assessment, please sign the pamphlet that they wii be bringing home and have it returned to the school, or simply contact the school to let us know.
